1976 and 1977 expiration tabs placed on Canadian Forces in
Europe plate shown below. The month of expiration is punched out on the tab.
76 tabs were issued in 75 for expiration in 76. 77 tabs were issued in 76 for
expiration in 77.
Canadian government issued fisheries boat plate for
1976 through 1978. It was issued by the Canada Department of Fisheries.
Although most all of these plates are reported as coming from Newfoundland
(this one was purchased from an individual in Carbonear, Newfoundland)
one has been reported coming from Victoria, British Columbia.
