John notes that he has an e mail from a Taiwanese contact that notes,"The first plate (379-111) is a custom plate.
The Taiwanese government just released this new kind of plate without any Chinese words from 2007."
John further notes,"I told my contact that I've had the plate for over 5 years. I bought the plate a few months before I was transferred from Washington State, where I lived for almost 7 years, to Germany in January, 2003. A similar plate is featured in the Francoplate website.
